Mauritius - A Paradise
I was fortunate enough to get an opportunity to spend 16 lovely days with my Daughter and her family on this absolutely fantastic island.
The combination of breathtaking nature, lovely wildlife, smiling and kind people, exciting history, beautiful white beaches and sunny weather was a true remedy for the rather doll weather conditions of winter in Denmark (Nov/Dec 2019).
Iceland - impressive Nature
Like most folks I never win anything in lotteries or competitions, however now I can in fact state that I won!
In a rather anonymous marketing competition of a new pear brand, I can barely recollect that I send in my contact details, however I won a trip to any European Capital for two.
And I chose Iceland because I was curious of the land futher to the north with its unique placement and geographical composition - and I was not dissapointed - it was a truly fantastic trip with an amazing nature, great restaurants too and also smiling and kind people.

London - celebrating 50
My sweet, beautiful, wonderful, one-of-a-kind fantastic daughter hade given me a trip to London with her, in celebration of my 50th birthday. We had an absolute perfect trip, and she had even arranged High Noon Tea for us, at Harrods! What an experience - I will never forget it! Thank you for this Memory!

Spring in Denmark
Sometimes we need to remember the absolute beauty in the immediate surroundings, and the smallest details that we take for granted. In the everyday buzz we sometimes haste pass them.
I strive to reflect and open my eyes on the beauty that meets us every day as well. (April 2019)
A New Year with New Challenges
A page was turned as I left one job, spent some time reflecting and educating, and then continued into the next exiting job with a start-up company. COVID-19 dominated the world as well. The challenges came in abundance, and travelling were more or less not in the schedule.
Keeping my little family close with the latest branch extension of granddaughter number 2 to the family tree made all the difference in the world. Everybody saying "Stay Safe"(October 2020)
Santorini - Sun, Blue & White
As COVID finally started to let go of the world again, and travelling was made possible again, a lot of wonderful travel destinations also opened up for DK citizens with vaccines completed etc.
One place I always wanted to visit was Santorini, with the dominant colors of Blue and White, like the Greek national flag, would be basking in the wonderful sunlight. It was absolutely stunning, and because all buildings are basically build alongside the steep vulcano sides, no matter where you went, a stunning view and magic sunset was at display (July 2021)
Disneyland Paris
Every girl in the world deserves a little bit of magic in their lives, I believe!
As a lot of other girls and generations of girls, my granddaughters had seen most of the classic Disney Animated cinematic movies, and like most, they love them all.
I therefore explained to them that the Disney castle, which is the charateristic start of any Disney Animated movie, actually exits and that you could go inside and see different rooms and view from some of the towers - so would they like to travel and visit it?
They were looking at me with tingeling eyes and shouted 'YES!' - so Off we went, all of us.
As we arrived they took in the entire scenarie and stood completely flabbergasted when they saw the castle! It was truely a trip to the Magic Kingdom (May 2022)
